I am a qualified teacher and was looking for an opportunity to have a home- based franchise to allow me to work flexible hours while my 2 small kids needed much of my time. Buying a Study Stars franchise was such a great decision. The best part of my new role as a facilitator, is to do workshops with parents and students about the ways they can work better with all their brain gears. Even though kids join the workshop are not feeling excited about spending their free time in a study method course with their parents, they quickly warm up to the high energy activities where they discover new techniques to improve their studies. And so many of the participants comment on the fun they have while learning new skills. Parents who attend the workshop with their children, feel a great sense of relief when they observe the practical and simple methods that can be applied quite easily. And additionally, knowing how to support their children after the completion of the workshop has a positive influence on parents’ attitude and motivation. An unexpected benefit of the program is that the program helps to smooth over sometimes very strained relationships between parent and child: it is not longer one opinion against another, but the Study Stars way becomes the process to follow. This is the ideal franchise if you love interaction with children and seeing them grow personally in a very short time. My business never needed any marketing, and has been organically growing with the powerful word of mouth referrals from happy mothers and fathers who attended the program. I started with one program per term 6 years ago and this term (Q1 2019) have done 5 programs without advertising or active marketing anywhere. It is always great being involved in something that changes the lives of people positively.
